How long is the course?
30 minutes of interactive training

You will learn:

1. Your responsibility

You will learn what your responsibilities are for keeping your place of work safe from potential accidents, and how to report any incidents.

2. How to avoid an accident

You will learn what constitutes a trip hazard by watching video footage and seeing pictures of ‘accidents waiting to happen’.

3. Safety at Height

You will learn how to choose the best means of reaching the height you need to work at. We give step by step guidance to positioning and working on ladders in a way which minimizes the likelihood of falling.

4. It’s down to you

You will learn that you have the most control over keeping yourself safe from falling, tripping or slipping. You will learn how to do risk assessments that help prevent accidents to you or anyone else.

5. Testing your learning

On completion of all of the above sections of the course you will take a 20-question multiple-choice test. You can then get a printed certificate to show you have completed the Slips, Trips & Falls training.
